People don’t always think of Family Photography as an art form and there are many who might think it’s kind of silly - "anyone can do that." But Eagle Mountain Photography NW takes it very seriously. Since 1995, I have been capturing images of your families and your children's unique personalities in a structured studio setting. Recently, I have decided encompass more than just the "requirements", by including pets, special events and "on-location". All the while, refocusing on babies and small children in a more creative way.
Company History - Family Legacy
Keeping true to the name...
Let's flash back to the late 60's. My father, Dan and the man I grew up knowing as "Uncle Bill", be came lifelong friends. Both had a passion for photography and it's various aspects. Over the years they created Eagle Mountain Photography, here in the Pacific Northwest. Eventually, it grew to become Eagle Mountain Enterprises, which branched out to even include Eagle Mountain Ranch in Montana.
Both men are still best friends and still find the time to get behind the lens.
This brings us to how I'm adding my little addition to the legacy. I inherited my passion from my dad and started with a little point & shoot 110 camera, at about age 8. During my school years, I took every class I could and earned extra credit by hand rolling & filling the film canisters.
Fast forward almost 40 years. I have spent a good majority of that time working as a photographer and studio manager for a nationally recognized portrait studio company. Due to some company restructuring, my studio was closed. I have chosen to take this opportunity to continue with my 1st love, but on my terms. I look forward to this "Grand Adventure"!
